Vesak Day, celebrates the birth, enlightenment and passing away of Gautam Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. He taught a universal message of peace. Celebrated in the first week of May.

Vesak day gives us a great opportunity to take a fascinating look at the Buddhist Community worldwide and to take a fresh look at how Buddhist teaching could make a difference to our relationships in school.
